ENGINEERING:
'TechMech Cranes'
are individually designed to suit customers specifications. All the relevant details are studied exhaustively before designing the cranes. Proper stress analysis are made for optimum design ensuring minimum crane structural weight, wheel loads Headroom and clearances thus reducing the building cost. Most modern computer aided designing (CAD) ensures availability of design information faster. "TechMech" cranes are available upto 200.0 tons.


DESIGN:
'TechMech cranes'
are designed as per IS:807, 3177, 4137 and 3938.


DUTY:

'TechMech cranes' are designed for various class of duties:-

CLASS - I : LIGHT DUTY Cranes for maintenance, warehouse and assembly operations. 
CLASS - II : MEDIUM DUTY Cranes for general engineering application and Machine shop.
CLASS - III : HEAVY DUTY Cranes for Heavy machine shops, paper mills, Fabrication shop, etc.
CLASS - IV : EXTRA HEAVY DUTY Cranes for continuous operation in Steel mills and other Heavy Engineering purpose. Cranes for Out door duty is also designed specially.

CRANE BRIDGE:

Crane bridge girders are of plate boxtype / standard rolled steel joist / compound beams / Castillated / Lattice Construction. All the main butt-weld joints of the web are strong and rigid structure, thus 100% reliability of welded joints is ensured. The material of construction conforms to IS:2062 1992.

GEAR BOX:

Totally enclosed oil immersed reduction gears of rugged wide faced helical and spur gears that are precision machine cut form special alloy steel forging through hobbing machine. Gears and pinions are supported on antifriction ball/roller bearing to protect gear train from shock loads.

WHEEL ASSEMBLIES:

Long travel wheels are straight treaded double flanged forged steel wheels. Wheels are supported on antifriction ball or double row self aligned spherical roller bearings in special blocks of 'L' type design ('L' type bearings) for easy maintenance. Wheels of gear and pinion type also available.

MICRO SPEED GEAR BOXES:

Micro speed provides fine inching movements of hoist, trolley or cranes at the rate of 5% to 20% of the main speed. The micro speed is achieved by a separate gear box Unique Sun and Planetory gearing system. Planetory gearing system and pony motor with separate brake unit is fitted on the input side main gear unit. This planetory gearing system gives positive drive and avoids use of electro magnetic clutches which unnecessarily.

COUPLINGS:

Flexible gear couplings are provided in Double Girder cranes between gear box and rope drum to withstand the misalignment. Also geared couplings are provided between gear box and wheel in cross and long travel.

BREAKS:

'Fail safe' Electro magnetic of Electro hydraulic A.C. thrustor brakes of minimum 150% torque are provided. DC brakes are also provided on request.

L.T. DRIVE:

Generally long travel wheel shall have independent drive (twin drive) for smooth operations.

MOTORS:

Motors are totally enclosed fan cooled crane duty type of reputed makes and confirms to ISS:325.

CONTROL:

Pendent control from floor. Master controller from cabin. Remote control and variable frequency AC drives also available.
